Look, the only reason why anybody would want to leave the country where they were born, the culture, the language and the people is because the situation of that country has become unbearable to sustainable development and human life as a whole.

As a host country we can either don’t accept them, start a new fight on the basis of colour, religion and language or as a host country we can accept them by providing a liveable life, giving equal status and making them a part of the economy of the country.

Any government that has opened its border to welcome refugees have different process to properly know their motives before mixing them in the society. As for illegal immigration shuting down border is not a solution but increased vigilance is, increased vigilance in order to understand the motives of refugees and not to send them back where the normal circumstances is one which cannot sustain a peaceful living.

I know you may suspect them of being destroyers of your religion and culture. But don’t you remember the rules of this world? The strong rule the weak, the weak cannot rule the strong. If you make the weak strong then he shall always repay you with kindness.

  1. A local church in my area has done a lot to help resettle refugees in our state and help set them up with places to live, rides for doctor’s appointments, etc. Actually, I should clarify, as I think not all the families they resettle are legally classified as “refugees” however, they are all asylum seekers. The work they do is really quite impressive.

    • That’s is good work and may God bless them for that. You are true in your assessment but if you try to define “asylum seekers” and “refugees” you can’t draw a distinct line between the two!

  2. Taiwan had refugees once without our willingness, but they are part of our society now; most of them are the ruling class though some of them were poor, so in our case, it may not be a good thing unless someone else benefit from them. Anyway, it is a good topic!

    • If people from your country or any other country are a part of the economic growth then it is always a good thing. The poor are exploited by the ruling class for their benefit.
