“Charlie was a cherished husband, father and grandfather and also, as a member of the Rolling Stones, one of the greatest drummers of his generation.”

  1. I recall a Jay Leno schtick where he lamented that The Rolling Stones were playing a concert in L.A. when Mick Jagger was 70 years old. Jay’s complaint was that our country’s social security was failing to provide for “these old geezers” who still have to work for a living! 😂

      • 😉 I always admire anyone who writes in a non-native language, and I say that so you will not take offense at my “grammar police” correction!
They did not “bare” a great loss, but “bore” a great loss. In the past perfect tense, it would read “The fans have born a great loss.”
        “Ain’t” English fun!? 🙄😄
