Legendary drummer that rocked Rolling Stones with his tunes for the past 50 years, Charlie Watts died at the age of 80, his publicist said.
These are some of the many hits of Charlie Watts along with lead singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood
- Sympathy for the Devil
- Paint it Black
- Wild Horses
- She’s a Rainbow
- Under My Thumb
- Brown Sugar
- Can’t you Hear Me Knocking
- Harlem Shuffle
- Mother’s little Helper
“Charlie was a cherished husband, father and grandfather and also, as a member of the Rolling Stones, one of the greatest drummers of his generation.”

I recall a Jay Leno schtick where he lamented that The Rolling Stones were playing a concert in L.A. when Mick Jagger was 70 years old. Jay’s complaint was that our country’s social security was failing to provide for “these old geezers” who still have to work for a living! 😂

😉 I always admire anyone who writes in a non-native language, and I say that so you will not take offense at my “grammar police” correction!
They did not “bare” a great loss, but “bore” a great loss. In the past perfect tense, it would read “The fans have born a great loss.”
“Ain’t” English fun!? 🙄😄
