The Israeli Parliament voted 60-59 to oust Benjamin Netanyahu as the Prime Minister of Israel.
- A new cabinet will be sworn in following the Knesset vote that saw 60 MKs voting in favour of a new government while 59 MKs voted against a new government.
Neftali Bennette will be sworn in as the new Prime Minister of Israel before Yair Lapid, who will take charge two years later.
- Benjamin Netanyahu, one of the most dynamic leaders of Israel failed to prove a majority in the Sunday voting and the March 23rd election, its fourth in two years.
The new government has parties from across the political spectrum and for the first time 21% represents minority comprising Palestinian citizens of Israel.
