Denmark’s midfielder Christian Eriksen fainted during an ongoing UEFA Euro 2020 game against Finland.
Christian was instantly surrounded by his teammates while medical professionals pumped his chest.
The 16,000 fans of both countries sat impatiently waiting to hear any news on Eriksen's condition.
- After 15 minutes he was rushed to the hospital. The teammates and medical professionals surrounded him as he was taken off the stadium on a stretcher.
- The Finnish team also seemed visibly distressed and left the ground.
The hospital authorities have confirmed that Christian’s condition is now stable and he is awake.
The match was being held at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.
The match is scheduled to resume at 12 am I.S.T.
